redzīgs (definite redzīgais, comparative redzīgāks, superlative visredzīgākais, adverb redzīgi)

1. seeing, sighted (having vision; able to see)

   kļūt redzīgam pēc operācijas ― to become seeing after the operation

   viņam tikai viena acs redzīga ― only one of his eyes is seeing

   bērniem redzīgākas acis nekā sirmgalvjiem ― children have better (lit. more seeing) eyes than the elderly

   kad neredzīgais kļūst redzīgs un ierauga gaismu, viņam noreibst galva ― when a blind (person) becomes seeing and sees the light, his head becomes dizzy

2. seeing (which sees well, has good vision)

   viņa redzīgā acs vēroja kasiera pirkstu kustības ― his seeing (= watchful) eye observed the movement of the cashier's hands

3. perceptive, attentive (such that it quickly notices, observes something; such that it easily perceives, understands)
