Declension
This word is usually not inflected, as it would be difficult to fit into any Finnish declension category. If there's a need to inflect sonic hedgehog, it is combined with something inflectable such as proteiini (“protein”) or molekyyli (“molecule”), e.g. sonic hedgehog -molekyyli.
