Etymology
A prefixal derivative with tër-, based on *thor, from Proto-Albanian *tsāsra, continuing Proto-Indo-European *ḱes-ro- (“to cut”). Cognate to Sanskrit शस्त (śásta, “cut down, slaughtered”), Ancient Greek κεάζω (keázō, “to split”).[1] Related to ther.
