teewu
Fula
Etymology
from Proto-Fula-Serer *regeƴ, whence also Serer regeƴ (“meat”). Root reduction in Fula causes the dropping of Proto-Fula-Serer medial -g- or sonorants between identical vowels. Compare Fula ɗem- from Proto-Fula-Serer *ɗelem.[1]
Noun
teewu ngu (plural teewuuji ɗi)
