Phrase
- Used to refer that someone will eventually win against an opponent by waiting for the opponent's eventual defeat.
- The tyrant may have won, but eventually, he will grow old and die. His regime will tear itself to pieces, as the same tyrant's army will fight itself over whoever will succeed him. Time is on the people's side.
