touchpoint (plural touchpoints)

  1. A physical point of contact; a surface that is regularly touched by people.

      The operator says that a total of 952,514 'cleans' of various touchpoints, including tables and door buttons, were carried out by more than 600 dedicated cleaning staff - the equivalent of cleaning one carriage at least three times every day.
  2. (business) An encounter where customers and business engage to exchange information, provide services, or handle transactions.
    The touchpoints in retail banking include tellers and ATMs.
  3. (geometry) A point where things touch.
    The Gergonne triangle is defined by the three touchpoints of the incircle on the three sides.
