  1. (US) A worker who assists in loading and unloading logs or skidding with a dray.
    • 1945, The Southern Lumberman, volume 171, page 37:
      In New England a 'zoogler' is a loader of sleds used to skid logs.
    • 1982, Lynwood Carranco, Redwood Lumber Industry, page 69:
