I am getting problem in upload any file. My word press site is using Ajax Page Loader Plugin.So page is not refreshing when the form is submitting..

I am not getting any value in PHP code in functions.php in print_r($_FILES);

But when i am printing any string with echo(); it is printing but why print_r($_FILES); is not getting any value.

  • PB, you are posting a serialized form. Why would there be anything in $_FILES? Try looking in $_POST. – Beetroot-Beetroot Mar 22 '13 at 07:16
  • @Beetroot: my guess is that the file upload bit is not itself AJAXified, and thus that should respond normally. Puzzled Boy, would you clarify? – halfer Mar 22 '13 at 08:42
  • In the past, file upload via AJAX was not possible but a javascript `FileReader` constructor apparanty makes this possible now (under HTML5 I assume).
