I want all of the text from this page: http://finance.google.com/finance/info?client=ig&q=NASDAQ:goog as a variable in the JavaScript on my HTML5 page.

  • Tried XHR... got this in the console XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://finance.google.com/finance/info?client=ig&q=NASDAQ:goog. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 500. Try jQuery's $.get api.jquery.com/jquery.get/
