Use can use `PDO` or `mysqli_*` functions. I personally prefer `PDO` but You can use `mysqli_*` functions which are similar to `mysql_*` functions. — Ikari, Apr 04 '15 at 07:58

the problem is that header is not correctly passing the result of while to display.php — Midhu T, Apr 04 '15 at 08:36

put ob_start(); to the top of your submit.php page. You have an output before you call header();
