Merging two tables into one table

Question

The script below was written by a member (OMG Ponies) for the question i posted last night. There were syntax error in the script i could not figure it out. Can someone please give it a try? It used MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008

That script won't work in SQL 2000. Is that what you are using? — Martin Smith, Jun 23 '10 at 14:21

This code was missing a ')' and then the aliases were missing the # — Baaju, Jun 23 '10 at 14:23
