JSONParser deprecated

Question

All the text between ** ** is deprecated. I don't know what should I use to replace it. Can you give me some help please? I'm a beginner at this, just making an app to communicate to my raspberryPi.

Here is a fully working replacement for the JSONParser class that uses HttpURLConnection:
