fatal error in lauching application android

Question

In my android application i used checkedbox, radio button and spinner as well.but during launching this application it shows fatal error. my java code as below:

This is not the cause of the null pointer exception (a stack trace would be helpful for that), but there are a few other errors apparent in the code you posted. In onCreate you have the following code:

db=openOrCreateDatabase("Registration", Context.MODE_PRIVATE, null);
db.execSQL("CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS Student(firstname VARCHAR,lastname VARCHAR," +
     "email VARCHAR,password VARCHAR,dob VARCHAR,gender VARCHAR,hobbies VARCHAR,country VARCHAR );");

In your onItemSelected() call you have the following statement:

db.execSQL("INSERT INTO Registrartion VALUES('"+country+"');");

and similar statements elsewhere throughout the code. I assume these broken INSERTS are placeholders for some purpose since your code contains a valid INSERT statement in onClick(), but hitting any of these lines will cause your code to fail due to a missing table or in one case because you say INSER instead of INSERT.

As for the rest, without your layout file there's little else I can check (but your database open and table creation are not causing the problem).
