CoordinatorLayout, FAB and container layout conflict

Question

I have a main activity with a drawer that have a container layout where I replace each fragment with FragmentManager.

I want to add a FAB to one of my child fragments that hide/show on scroll but Im not sure what Im doing wrong and get:

You can also put the FAB block in FAB BLOCK and set alignParentBottom = true and alignParentRight=true. — Andy Developer, Jul 12 '16 at 13:35

Looks like CoordinatorLayout cant handle behaviour of children views that are not "direct children".
You need to add a app:layout_anchorGravity="bottom|right|end" and android:layout_gravity="end|bottom" in your fab view.

For example:

        android:id="@+id/fab_feeds"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_margin="16dp"
        android:clickable="true"
        android:layout_gravity="end|bottom"
        android:src="@drawable/ic_plus_white"
        app:layout_anchorGravity="bottom|right|end"/>

yeah, I used and set anchor to the `FrameLayout` or the `RecyclerView` but no results – Daniel Gomez Rico Jul 12 '16 at 19:16
use the anchor just in FAB view, framelayout or recyclerview use just app:layout_behavior="@string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior" – victorldavila Jul 12 '16 at 20:36

add app:layout_anchor="@id/container" to your FAB. Also, by indicating bottom|right there is no need to include end

The Floating Action Button is defined within the Fragment itself there, as a member of that ViewGroup, it will obey the scrolling of the parent it is nested in - rather than the Activity – apelsoczi Jul 12 '16 at 14:00
