I followed instructions at Call c function from Java
to create a JNI for a C++ function, HelloWorld example. It works fine as part of Java program. My programs are listed below:
////////////
class HelloWorld {
private native void myprint(char c);
public void from_java() {
    myprint('I');
}
public static void main(String[] args) {
    new HelloWorld().from_java();
}
static {
    System.loadLibrary("HelloWorld");
}
}
/* DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - it is machine generated */
#include <jni.h>
/* Header for class HelloWorld */
#ifndef _Included_HelloWorld
#define _Included_HelloWorld
#ifdef __cplusplus
extern "C" {
#endif
JNIEXPORT void JNICALL Java_HelloWorld_myprint(JNIEnv *, jobject, char);
#ifdef __cplusplus
}
#endif
#endif
#include <stdio.h>
#include "HelloWorld.h"
JNIEXPORT void JNICALL   Java_HelloWorld_myprint(JNIEnv *env, jobject obj, char c)  {
 printf("Hello World! %c", c);
 printf("\n");
 return;
}
////////////
myprint(..) can be called fine from Java.
However, when I make it part of WordCount hadoop example then I get error.
My hadoop program is:
