Can't pyinstall a Kivy python program

Question

I can't get pyinstaller to create an .exe out of my python code.

I think it must have something to do with

A: I'm using Kivy for the prodject, and

B: I'm trying to use anaconda as my python interpreter.

For awhile it would make the .exe but when I launched it it would give a bunch of errors about no window being available. I tried installing/uninstalling packages, re-setting up my python interpreter on my editor (PyCharm), and finally I re-installed anaconda. Now when I try to run it, it wont even create the .exe, it just gives me an error.

This is the command I'm running in the terminal,

From your logs, it seems as if PyInstaller is using the standard Python installation, not Anaconda. Install all dependencies for the standard Python installation via pip and it should work. — E.T., Apr 12 '18 at 23:40
Be aware that if you pass a `spec` file to `Pyinstaller`, it ignores most of the options provided on the command line, including `--onefile`. So basically this was just a complete mess with many things that were missing or broken. But just in case anyone needs help with making this work I'll share what I did to solve it.

Secondly make sure to use relative paths for bringing in files in the python As seen here https://stackoverflow.com/a/13790741/8689803

Lastly if you are importing anything INSIDE KIVY CODE then make sure you first import it outside of the kivy code, like this
