Content is not allowed in prolog during Gradle build

Question

I tried Different methods but the problem did not solved, I even reinstalled android studio but still getting same issue:

I added the app module build.gradle and project build.gradle.

There is something wrong with your `build.gradle`. Please attach your **project** `build.gradle` and **app** module `build.gradle` — ישו אוהב אותך, Apr 14 '18 at 07:16

I have check and run a project will exact `build.gradle` like yours without issue. Have you try clean and rebuild the project? Or probably you're behind proxy? — ישו אוהב אותך, Apr 14 '18 at 18:11
i am not using a proxy and rebuilding and cleaning project are not working from top menu so i used "./gradlew clean "Command to clean the project and i still getting same error — Ahtisham Ilyas, Apr 15 '18 at 03:29

Close android studio if it is open already and then delete all the contents of these directories.

C:\Users\USER_NAME\.gradle\caches
C:\Users\USER_NAME\.android\build-cache
C:\Users\USER_NAME\.android\cache

Start Android Studio and and it will probably work. It may take a little bit time to load for the first time.

After a lot of struggle and searching online, i finally solve the problem.

I deleted all the cached folders in gradle and when i build my new project. It work like magic. Thanks @ישו אוהב אותך for reply and trying to help me.

I solved this by just deleting the cache folders in .gradle folder. This was only thing that worked (it also works for the android studio canary)

What worked for me...

Uninstall Android Studio.
Delete .gradle file in C:\Users\USER_NAME\.gradle
Install again Android Studio.
