how to add progress count percentage in android while downloading file

Question

Here I posted my AssyncTask Method call DownloadFile

1. I am unable to create progress count while downloading file
2. As my bellow code, I create one method called "DownloadFile" in that method I have called in Assyntask doInbackround so when I try to create Dialog its show error
3. so how can I implement this

progressDialog = new ProgressDialog(activity);
        progressDialog.setMessage(activity.getResources().getString(R.string.file_downloading));
        progressDialog.setIndeterminate(true);
        progressDialog.setProgressStyle(ProgressDialog.STYLE_HORIZONTAL);
        progressDialog.setProgressNumberFormat(null);
        progressDialog.setCancelable(false);  

and in your Asynctask

@Override
    protected void onPreExecute() {
        super.onPreExecute();
        progressDialog.show();
    }

    @Override
    protected void onProgressUpdate(Integer... progress) {
        progressDialog.setIndeterminate(false);
        progressDialog.setProgress(progress[0]);

    }

    @Override
    protected void onPostExecute(String result) {
        progressDialog.dismiss();
       }
