Hspec is a testing framework for Haskell. It is roughly based on the Ruby library RSpec. Some of Hspec's distinctive features are:

  • A friendly DSL for defining tests
  • integration with QuickCheck, SmallCheck, and HUnit
  • parallel test execution
  • automatic discovery of test files
