Is it possible to disable the LinkedIn mobile application for Android from displaying notification number badge on the app icon?

I don’t want the number badge in the top right corner to appear. I am using the latest version of the application.

On your device, navigate to Settings -> Application Manager -> All -> Settings -> Show System and then BadgeProvider should appear. Within these preferences, select Force Stop, then Disable.

Or download package disabler pro... it 1.99 but works. Requires a Samsung I think.

System settings - Apps - Apps - LinkedIn - Notifications - App icon badges = Off. Worked for me on LinkedIn 4.1.974 on an Honor X6p in 2024. This method still allows other apps to display badge counts.

(Useful especially if LinkedIn is placed in a group of other apps, where LinkedIn's constant stream of background noise can make it difficult to see if any other apps in the group have notifications.)
