I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot an issue I'm having with JBoss Fuse - specifically AMQ. I'm using version 6.0.0.redhat-024 with 6.0.0.redhat-024-p5. I'm trying to deploy this to a container but seem to be hitting an issue with AMQ. The issue - when deploying my application - is this:
[root@4ca73a25d4cf home]# client -r 2 -d 60 -u admin -p admin "features:install example-app"
Refreshing bundles org.springframework.context.support (104)
Error executing command: Could not start bundle mvn:com.example/example.broker.services/1.0-SNAPSHOT in feature(s) example-base-0.0.0: Unresolved constraint in bundle example.broker.services [254]: Unable to resolve 254.0: missing requirement [254.0] osgi.wiring.package; (osgi.wiring.package=org.apache.activemq)
Obviously, this looks like a missing dependency issue, but, I'm convinced this is a Red Herring as I only get this issue when I try to install the application as part of the docker build process. To prove this I have:
- Installed the app successfully on a Virtual Machine of the same OS
- Installed the app in a blank container without using docker build (i.e. run a container, exec into it and just run the install of Fuse and the app manually)
No issues arise from the above two methods: The app installs and runs as expected. The commands used in the installations above are lifted from the Dockerfile that I am using for the build. This issue seems to be connected (somehow) to the docker build.
When the app installs something seems to do something to AMQ. When I build the container to the point of application installation, the AMQ features are fine:
[root@8cdbdd27720a home]# client -r 2 -d 60 -u admin -p admin "osgi:list | grep 118"
[ 118] [Active ] [Created ] [ ] [ 50] activemq-karaf (5.8.0.redhat-60024)
[root@8cdbdd27720a home]# client -r 2 -d 60 -u admin -p admin "osgi:list | grep 128"
[ 128] [Active ] [ ] [ ] [ 60] JBoss A-MQ Fabric (6.0.0.redhat-057)
When I refresh, start, stop the bundles everything is fine:

When i try to install my application using the following commands:

I get the error message set out above but then the AMQ bundles seem to be botched as a result:

Does anyone know why this is happening? Why it works when done manually but as part of the docker build it fails.
