How to connect the Bose QuietComfort 35 I's microphone to Windows 7?

My Bose QuietComfort 35 I's headphone is connected to Windows 7 but not the microphone:

After upgrading the OS to Windows 11 24H2 Pro, the headphones to Bose QuietComfort 35 II, and the headphones' firmware to 4.8.1, I'm now finally able to connect the Bose QuietComfort headphones' microphone to Windows:
