New to Tailscale with a 2-node tailnet (no exit node). Local linux box uses Remmina to control remote Win 11 PC running Remote Desktop. All on that works well.
Now want to connect from Thunderbird on local machine through remote (Windows 11 PC) to a 3rd-party mail server. Reason for convoluted routing is; for security, mail server only accepts connections from remote's IP.
Remote sits behind a firewall with IPv4 ISP, local is IPv6 with CGNAT.
The obvious workaround to install Thunderbird on remote is not allowed. Also, Thunderbird needs an http proxy to connect.
Researching, I've only found complicated methods that seem much more than what's needed here.
Anyone do this, or have suggestions?
