With the requirement to run multiple remote desktop sessions (RDP) that exceed the number of physical screens, I'd like to run those RDP full-screen in a separate virtual desktop each.

However when trying to use the key combination (or more specifically the three-finger gesture on the touchpad) I have this problem: When in an RDP session that gesture switches virtual desktops inside the RDP session, not the virtual desktop on the machine I started that RDP session from.

So is there a way to switch RDP sessions easily using virtual desktops in Windows 10?

Clarification (just in case):

When switching from a virtual desktop that does not have a full-screen RDP session on it, I can switch to a virtual desktop with a full-screen RDP session on it without any problem, but I cannot switch back the same way (for example).

I found out that the question is a duplicate of Windows 10: Switch virtual deskop while in fullscreen remote desktop with https://superuser.com/a/1179088/964771 as a working answer.
