I have a unique issue I was hoping to get some advice on building a Power Automate flow for or some other solution.
We have a shared mailbox, let's call it the XZ group. We deal with consultants who BCC that mailbox so that our entire team is included on the response. They will not CC that mailbox for various unrelated reasons. When I am included in both the "To" or "CC" and the "BCC" - Outlook will truncate those two emails into one. However, if that is the case I don't know if my entire team got the reply email or if just I got it. Maybe the consultant forgot to BCC my "XZ" group? So then I would have to forward the email to my team and that defeats the purpose in having the "XZ" group to begin with.
I have tried the following approaches including:
- Emails Rules (only works for "CC" or "To"), not bcc
- Email Macros (not allowed by my organization)
I was thinking there may some way to use Power Automate to isolate these emails.
Perhaps power automate would be able to tell if I was both sent via "To" or "CC" and BCC and can send me an email letting me know that I technically got this email twice but Microsoft consolidated it into one. Or there might be a better idea/approach in mind which I would be interested in even more as I find Power Automate to be difficult and finicky to use despite appearing user-friendly. I feel like I am missing a simpler solution and am overcomplicating this.
