We bought a pack of Patriot Burst Elite SSD for our old PC in my work. These SSDs were tested using a USB SATA adaptor they was okay no failures or anything, they get detected in BIOS when we plug them in the computers. But when the Windows installer ask you for the partitions to choose to install the SSD is not shown.
- PC are old Lenovo DDR2-DDR3 with Dual Core, Pentium G and Core 2 Duo.
- Legacy BIOS DDR2 has not way to change from IDE to AHCI mode.
- SSD were detected in BIOS of all PC (even the older ones).
- SSD was proved raw (just as they came), with ghost image, with MBR conversion using disk part to make a clean install of Windows 10 and Windows 11 and none worked
Well in the partition selection screen just display the message that ask for a driver for the SSD, and when I clone an image in to the disk it just shows BSOD.
I tested the disk in new UEFI BIOS and they work well but we bought them for using them in old PCs, we bought a pack a year a ago and they worked just well but these disks are just not working at all for these old Lenovo PCs.
Is there any way to make them work in these old Lenovo PCs?
