I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. After restarting, I get a warning window containing the following:

A driver cannot load on this device

Driver: HWiNFO64A.SYS

A security setting is detecting this as a vulnerable driver and blocking it from loading.

You'll need to adjust your settings to load this driver

A search for HWiNFO64A.SYS shows lots of information about its purpose, which seems to span ensurance of memory integrity, monitoring hardware and processes, and collecting data. This video recommends disabling memory integrity.

As I was posting this, this Q&A was suggested. I followed some links therein to here and here. Not being a hardware person, I now have a vague sense of what disabling memory integrity.

But I don't have a sense of the relative risk from disabling it. Is it possible for someone to provide a sense of the relative risk?

What is the risk of disabling memory integrity in order to allow the loading of HWiNFO64A.SYS?
