Friend has a Windows 10 personal laptop that she uses for work. I showed her how to access its files from an iPad on the same network (like a server) and created/ wrote down a password for her.
There is only one login account and it’s an admin account.
She can’t find the paper with the password. The username and password are still stored in the ‘Connect to Server’ section in the iPad (we can’t copy and paste and it’s not revealed).
The server is currently powered on, but not logged on (and again, we don’t remember the password).
Is there a way to log the server on over the network instead of typing the password directly into the laptop?
I’ve already tried resetting the PW in command prompt (left shift and restart method) and was asked for the PW before being allowed to access command prompt.
It’s a business laptop with certain apps, logins, and files that she can’t afford to lose.
Thanks for any help
