Me and my friends have PON routers and we want to erect a LAN. Since our OPT (Optical Line Terminal) is far away, we have increased ping for each other, considering that we live in the same village. Also, if the cable to the OPT is broken, we will not be able to communicate with each other and we will not be able to use the Internet. There is a POS (Passive Optical Splitter) in our village and whether it will be possible to make a local network with it? For example I can be a gateway.

You cannot use a PON between ONTs without using the ISP's active components.

Uplink and downlink are using separate wavelengths and the uplink lambda only goes to the OLT, not to the other ONTs.
