Automatically load kernel module

I'd like openSUSE to automatically load a kernel module (e.g. libsas) at boot time even if no device requires it. In Ubuntu, you would add the module name to the file /etc/modules. Is this the correct place for openSUSE as well?

Installing openSuSE from pendrive

Back then I found so many good howtos about this but now, I can't find any of them. Even the ones pointing to the openSuSE wiki have been deleted. One wild guess is Unetbootin, but I doubt it'd work. (Usually it never works as it should.)
