My interests are broad in the fields of the arts, humanities, and natural sciences. These include electrical and software engineering, neurology, pathology/infectious disease; baroque, Impressionist and Romantic music, progressive rock/metal; social and cultural history of Medieval Europe, early Imperial China, and late feudal Japan into the Meiji era; literary fiction, watercolour, calligraphy.

I'm a programmer, fiction writer, musician, calligrapher, music composer, and occasional visual artist.
