Complete noob to programming of any type, I stumbled across a method in HTML for linking to files on the local computer which works well for starting these files. The purpose is to to make a rudimentary touchscreen interface for people like myself with really fat fingers...or like my customers, who've had just a little bit too much to drink.

The end-result will hopefully be a fully navigable "jukebox" for my music-video collection.
