A rendering server for exporting wikibooks to other formats is now up and running. Available output formats are Epub, Odt, LaTeX and PDF. Hi everyone, the main technology we’re using to render PDFs on Wikimedia wikis – OCG – is breaking down. The code is old, it’s difficult to maintain, and if we don’t replace it now we might suddenly find ourselves in a situation where we'd have to take it down without having planned to do so. We have some plans for the future at mw:Reading/Web/PDF Functionality.
