γεια σου (geia sou, “hello, goodbye”) (singular, informal)
γεια σας (geia sas, “hello, goodbye”) (plural, formal form)
γεια μας (geia mas, “cheers”) (toast used when drinking in company)
(dated but still used in Cyprus) έχε γεια (éche geia), έχετε γεια (échete geia) Έχε γεια and έχετε γεια is still used in Cyprus as a form of goodbye but is pronounced as éshe geiá and éshete geiá.
