   The Greeks use plenty (very many) diminutives whey they speak. Like: "in the little-evening we shall drink our little coffee and we'll also eat little sweets.

   Examples:

   Ελενίτσα f (Elenítsa) is a diminutive of Ελένη (Eléni, “Helen”) a very young Ελένη, or in familiar or endearing sense.

   Λένα f (Léna) is a hypocoristic (familiar term of endearment) of Ελένη.

   Λενάκι n (Lenáki) is a diminutive of the hypocoristic name.

   Antonym: μεγεθυντικό (megethyntikó) also, αυξητικό (afxitikó)
