Usage notes

The verb is usually used with the preposition за (for), followed by an object in instrumental case. When the object is an action, it is in represented as an infinitive (Western Serbo-Croatian) or a да + present tense formation (Eastern Serbo-Croatian). The rarest form of usage is with the direct object in accusative case.
