Alternative forms
- միզ (miz)
Etymology
From Proto-Indo-European *h₃moyǵʰos or *h₃meyǵʰos, from *h₃meyǵʰ- (“urinate”). A borrowing from the Iranian cognate has also been suggested: compare Avestan 𐬨𐬀𐬉𐬰𐬀 (maēza, “urine”) and Northern Kurdish mîz (“urine”).
Noun
մէզ • (mēz)
- urine
- մրուր միզոյ ― mrur mizoy ― urinary sediment
