בן בית

Hebrew

Etymology

Compound of בֶּן (ben, son of) +‎ בַּיִת (báyit, house). In Hebrew, the expression "son of" may be used to express a person's origin, e.g. בְּנֵי בָבֶל (literally sons of Babylon), meaning people of Babylon (Ezekiel 23:15).
