طوتاق

Etymology
Inherited from Proto-Turkic *tutġak (“anything that holds”),[1] a development of *tut- (“to grasp”), whence طوتمق (tutmak, “to hold, grasp”). Compare the similar formation *tutka (“handle”), found in Bashkir тотҡа (totqa), Kazakh тұтқа (tūtqa), Kyrgyz тутка (tutka), Uyghur تۇتقا (tutqa) and Uzbek tutqa.
