1. amazement, astonishment, incredulity

   Synonym: आश्चर्य (āścarya)

   • 1880 – 1936, Premchand, Ātmārām:

     लोगों को उसकी द्रुतगमिता पर आचम्भा हो रहा था।

     logõ ko uskī drutagmitā par ācambhā ho rahā thā.

     People were feeling amazement at the sight of his speed.
