Etymology
Vṛddhi derivative of उत्सुक (utsuka) with a -य (-ya) extension. For initial u- in descendants, probably by influence of उत्सुक (utsuka), whence Pali उस्सुक (ussuka) and Prakrit उस्सुग (ussuga).
