Etymology

From თბილი (tbili, warm) with the verb არს (ars, to be). The verb soon turned impersonal and got new screeve forms (თბილოდა (tbiloda), თბილოდეს (tbilodes)).

  1. (impersonal) to be warm (weather), when it's less than hot and pleasantly so
    Synonym: ცხელა (cxela)
    Antonyms: ცივა (civa), ყინავს (q̇inavs)
    დღეს მზიანი ამინდია და თბილა.
    dɣes mziani amindia da tbila.
    It is sunny and warm today.
