1. circumfixed to nouns or verbal nouns to form adjectives meaning 'without (noun affixed)': -less, un-, in- im-, lacking in something, devoid of something

   Synonyms: უ- -ო (u- -o), უ- -ური (u- -uri), უ- -ელი (u- -eli), უ- -არი (u- -ari)

   ‎ტირილი (ṭirili, “crying”) → ‎უტირალი (uṭirali, “tearless, without crying”)

A variation of უ- -არი (u- -ari), when the circumfixed word doesn’t contain the letter ლ (l), or if it does, the letter in question is followed by the letter რ (r) just before the suffix part.
