チョコパイ

From English choco + pie. The marshmallow-filled confection is from Korean 초코파이 (chokopai), which is from the same English elements.

チョコパイ • (chokopai) 

1. a pastry with chocolate or chocolate-flavored filling
   • 2000 December 29, “Kankoku-sei no kashi susenko ga hyōchaku [Thousands of Korean-made confections washed ashore]”, in Chunichi Shimbun, page 17:

     菓(か)子(し)は縦(たて)七(しち)センチ、横(よこ)十(じゅう)二(に)センチ、厚(あつ)さ二(に)センチのチョコパイなどで、石(いし)川(かわ)県(けん)側(がわ)でも漂(ひょう)着(ちゃく)が確(かく)認(にん)されているという。

     Kashi wa tate shichi-senchi, yoko jūni-senchi, atsusa ni-senchi no chokopai nado de, Ishikawa ken-gawa de mo hyōchaku ga kakunin sareteiru to iu.

     Sweets, including a chocolate pie measuring seven centimeters long, twelve centimeters wide, and two centimeters thick have also reportedly washed ashore in Ishikawa.

     Tsūjō no “Chokopai” no yakukubai (jūryō hikaku) no chokopai de, kuchidoke no yoi hoippu kurīmu o sando shi chokorēto de kōtingu shita kēki to natteiru.

     The chocolate pie is about nine times as large (by weight) as a regular “Choco-pie”, and features a creamy whipped cream-style filling sandwiched between cake layers and covered with a chocolate coating.
