From English bling bling, aided by the fact that the English noun resembles a Korean reduplicative ideophone.

Usage notes

(beullingbeulling) is one of the few recently loaned ideophones in Korean. Like most ideophones which have entered the lexicon only recently, it does not obey yin-yang vowel ablaut or consonant alternation.
