Etymology 1

Inherited from Chagatai ـلیغ (-lığ), ـلیک (-lig), ـلوغ (-luğ), ـلوک (-lüg), from Proto-Turkic *-lig. Cognate with Khalaj -lig, Uzbek -li, Mongolian -лаг (-lag), and Turkish -lı, -li, -lu, -lü.
