1. appended to nouns to form adjectives expressing relation to the group of people or animal species

   ‎chlapec (“boy”) + ‎-ký → ‎chlapecký (“boyish”)

2. appended to nouns describing places to form adjectives expressing relation to the place

   ‎vesnice (“village”) + ‎-ký → ‎vesnický (“rural”)

Used when the root ends with -c, -k, -s. Most uses of -ký can be alternatively analyzed as -cký, or in case of ruský, as -ský.
