1. (distributive-temporal suffix) Added to a temporal noun to form an adverb.

   Synonym: -onként

• (distributive-temporal suffix) It is used only with temporal expressions. Variants:

  -onta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant

  ‎nap (“day”) + ‎-onta → ‎naponta (“daily”)

  -anta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant

  ‎nyár (“summer”) + ‎-anta → ‎nyaranta (“every summer”)

  -ente is added to unrounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant

  ‎év (“year”) + ‎-ente → ‎évente (“yearly”)

  -önte is added to rounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant

  ‎ősz (“autumn”) + ‎-önte → ‎őszönte (“every autumn”)
