  1. A wading bird of species Eudocimus albus, in family Threskiornithidae of ibises, which occurs along the coastal areas of Gulf of Mexico as well as throughout the Caribbean and has a predominantly white plumage with pink facial skin, long downcurved bill and bright red-orange legs.
