Reconstruction notes

  • For connecting this to *klokerom (“heap of stones”) to work, as Matasović and James do, *klokā, not *klukā must be reconstructed, as the i-affected outcome in Welsh clegyr exposes the stem vowel as *o (otherwise the Welsh word would end up as **clygyr).
